With Thanksgiving just around the corner, you may find yourself scrambling to find allergy friendly or gluten-free recipes. Here are a few of our favorites that we've made modifications to make allergy friendly.
Turkey- This turkey is gluten-free and free of the top 8 allergens. Be sure to read the dietary info and ingredients label to ensure allergy status. Many companies use preservatives and flavorings. We recommend using organic turkeys. Most turkeys have an 800 number on the label. We recommend calling that number to ask for dietary info and any allergens that may be hidden in your turkey.
Candied Sweet Potato- This candied sweet potato recipe is free of the top 8 allergens, vegan, gluten-free, and can be made organic. It's so yummy, you could almost use it as dessert...almost. Check dietary info/food labels for any allergens. All products are different.
Glazed Carrots- A favorite recipe of ours. This glazed carrot recipe uses agave nectar instead of honey or brown sugar. Vegan, healthier, allergy friendly, gluten-free and delicious.
Gluten-free stuffing- FINALLY a gluten-free stuffing recipe that tastes like the regular stuff.
Green bean casserole- Gluten-free, can be vegan, and free of eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, treenuts, soy, and wheat.
Turkey gravy- This turkey gravy is made from broth and stock. It's gluten-free and free of the top 8 allergens.
