Balsamic glazed seared salmon

Description

This delicious salmon dish looks as good as it tastes. This seared salmon is gluten-free, soy-free, milk-free, nut-free, and healthy. 

  • Ingredients

    1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
    1/8 cup water
    3/4 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    3/4 tablespoon packed brown sugar
    2 wild caught center cut salmon fillets, skin on
    1/2 to taste salt & freshly ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon olive oil

  • Methods / Steps
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
    Pat dry salmon fillets
    Place in skillet skin side up. Turn heat to high. Sear for 3-4 minutes until well browned.
    While salmon is cooking, stir together vinegar, water, lemon juice, and brown sugar.
    Flip fish over and sear skin side for 3-4 minutes, until just cooked through
    Place salmon on serving plates
    In the skillet, add vinegar mixture. Cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
    Spoon glaze over salmon and serve.
