Description

This marinated prime rib recipe is gluten-free and free of the top 8 allergens. It's kosher for Passover. 

  • Methods / Steps
    In small bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme.
    Place roast into roasting pan, keeping the fatty layer facing up.
    Spread garlic mixture over fatty layer of roast.
    Let roast sit out until room temperature, but not longer than 45 minutes.
    Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F
    Bake for 15 minutes then reduce temperature to 325 degrees F.
    Bake for an additional 35-50 minutes or until internal temperature is at least 135 degrees F (medium rare). For a more cooked roast, keep in oven longer.
    Remove from oven and let sit for 10-15 minutes, this keeps the juices in.
